Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of academic stress on the learning attitudes of students currently enrolled at Lac Hong University. Based on survey data and employing multiple regression analysis, the authors found that academic stress has a positive effect on students’ learning attitudes. This finding indicates that academic stress does not always negatively influence learning attitudes; rather, a moderate level of stress may serve as a motivational force that stimulates students’ interest in learning, thereby fostering a more positive, self-disciplined, and proactive learning attitude. In addition, other factors such as learning methods, instructors and teaching approaches, academic achievements, and traditional family values also play significant roles in explaining differences in students’ learning attitudes.
