With many large national projects located in the area such as: Long Thanh International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway..., Long Thanh is considered a district that plays an important role in the economic development of Dong Nai province, as well as the entire Southern key economic region. However, the development and expansion of industrial parks (IPs) has attracted a large number of workers from other regions to the area, but the issue of workers' housing has not received due attention. With the shortage of housing, the quality of workers' housing has not met the minimum standards according to regulations (in terms of scale, area, ventilation, light...), especially lacking social infrastructure works (schools, playgrounds, kindergartens...). Based on these issues, the article analyzed the current situation and proposed solutions to improve the management and development of social housing for industrial parks in the period of 2024 - 2026 and orientation to 2030. With the method of survey, analysis and synthesis, the article contributes to clarifying the improvement of efficiency in the management of housing projects for workers in industrial parks in Long Thanh district.
