Abstract

This study aims to investigate the current challenges faced by the English speaking clubs in Faculty of English Language at Lac Hong University and suggest practical solutions. This study employs a theme-based review of literature in which articles, journals, and other reliable sources are reviewed. Based on the findings, this indicates a number of practical solutions for the current challenges of English speaking clubs in order to create the necessary motivation for undergraduates’ participation. To achieve this objective, the study employs both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Based on the findings from both the qualitative and quantitative components, the study identifies a number of practical solutions to address the current challenges faced by the English speaking clubs. These solutions will aim to enhance the attractiveness and effectiveness of the clubs, thereby increasing undergraduate participation and promoting English language learning.
