7. Chất lượng thể chế và tự do kinh tế: Động lực tăng trưởng kinh tế tại Việt Nam

Nghiên cứu xem xét tác động của tự do kinh tế đến tăng trưởng kinh tế tại Việt Nam trong bối cảnh chất lượng thể chế. Thông qua phương pháp tiếp cận Bayes dựa trên dữ liệu tại Việt Nam giai đoạn từ năm 2008 đến năm 2022. Kết quả chỉ ra rằng tự do kinh tế và chất lượng thể chế đều có xác suất tác động dương trên 90% đối với tăng trưởng kinh tế. Bên cạnh đó, các biến hình thành vốn cố định, kiểm soát tham nhũng, chi tiêu cho giáo dục, tăng trưởng dân số, lạm phát, tỷ lệ thất nghiệp và phát triển tài chính có tác động âm đến tăng trưởng kinh tế. Ngược lại, đầu tư trực tiếp nước ngoài và số lượng lao động lại cho thấy tác động tích cực đến yếu tố này. Từ những phát hiện trên, tác giả đề xuất một số hàm ý chính sách phù hợp với kết quả hồi quy, nhằm mục đích tăng cường tự do kinh tế.
